Avcorp has been a supplier to The Boeing Company since 1995, initially with special processes and quickly progressing to sheet metal fabrication, machining, bench-top and larger assemblies—such as the Boeing 737NG Wheel-Well Fairing Assembly—metal bonded parts and other structures. Avcorp’s evolution from sheet metal supplier to integrator occurred as Boeing rationalized its facilities, offloading work packages and assemblies requiring suppliers with program management capabilities. Avcorp provides these services on programs such as interior rail packages supplied using a Kanban system to Interior Responsibility Center (IRC) Everett and the 737NG Wheel-Well Fairing Assemblies supplied directly to point of use on the 737 moving assembly line at Boeing Renton.
